Many of these are sulphur containing organic compounds formed from devulcanizing of rubber, which is essentially breaking of sulphur cross-linkages in vulcanized rubber.  If condensed, the condensates from autoclave steam release, is extremely foul smelling and hence is an effluent discharge issue.
